Carolyn is a beloved member in her community and also dedicates her time and service by teaching writing to children and adults alike.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Carolyn Smith has been writing plays, poems and fictional pieces since elementary school. She was encouraged by her mother and teachers to express herself through writing and has been writing ever since. Carolyn obtained a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Long Island University-Brooklyn, a Bachelor of Science from St. Francis College and teaches several courses on the collegiate level in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. She is a member of Sigma Tau Delta- the English Honors Society. Her poem “Daily Life” is featured in Downtown Brooklyn Volume 18.
